Service Now Developer
We are seeking a skilled Service Now Developer with 4–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Service Now solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Service Now platform development, integrations, workflow automation, and hands-on experience with Service Exchange. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and support teams to deliver scalable and efficient Service Now solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and customize Service Now applications and modules.
- Design and implement Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, and automated business processes.
- Configure and maintain Service Exchange services, service onboarding, and service lifecycle management.
- Develop and support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
- Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Work with ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Support CMDB, Asset Management, and Service Mapping initiatives.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Follow Service Now development best practices and governance standards.
Required Skills:
- 4–6 years of hands-on Service Now development experience.
- Strong experience in Service Exchange and service onboarding processes.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Service Now scripting.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Catalog, and Service Portal.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and third-party integrations.
- Experience with ITSM modules and CMDB.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Knowledge of Dev Ops and CI/CD practices for Service Now deployments.
