Rhapsody Developer

Healthcare IT / Integration Engineering Trenton, NJ (Local Candidates Only) Contract | Hybrid (3 Days/Week Onsite)

IT Impact Consulting is placing a Rhapsody Developer with a healthcare client in Trenton, NJ. The role focuses on building and maintaining healthcare integration workflows using Rhapsody, with deep knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and REST APIs. Local candidates only; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week onsite.

• Design, develop, and maintain Rhapsody integration routes and message-transformation workflows
• Build and troubleshoot HL7 v2 and FHIR R4 interfaces across clinical and administrative systems
• Implement and maintain REST API integrations with EHR, lab, pharmacy, and ancillary systems
• Collaborate with clinical informatics and IT teams to scope and deliver integration projects
• Monitor interface performance and resolve issues in production healthcare environments

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining integration workflows in Rhapsody (Rhapsody Integration Engine)
• Solid understanding of HL7 v2 message types (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, MDM) and FHIR R4 resources and APIs
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs in a healthcare integration context
• Familiarity with healthcare integration patterns: routing, filtering, transformation, acknowledgment handling
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, 21st Century Cures Act) preferred
• Local to Trenton, NJ — hybrid presence required (3 days/week onsite)
