Job Title:
Senior QA Automation Engineer
Location:
Merrill Lynch, NJ(Need Locals)
Duration:
Contract
Seeking senior QA Automation engineers with deep experience in designing and building modern test-automation frameworks.
Responsibilities include designing scalable UI, API and database automation solutions, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring release readiness and owning quality across the SDLC.
Required expertise:- Playwright using Type Script and/or Python
- Selenium and Py Test
- Strong programming with Python or Type Script to create reusable framework components
- API automation and validation
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops or Git Lab
- Parallel test execution, synchronization strategies (waits, polling, retries) and flaky-test analysis/stabilization
- Dynamic data and timestamp handling
- Debugging and problem-solving in complex, asynchronous workflows
- Working in Agile/Scrum with a quality-first mindset.
Nice to have: knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance domain, mainframe testing, and experience with AI-assisted or intelligent automation tools.
Minimum experience required: 10+ years.
