Distribution Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable Box Truck Driver to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely maneuver a 26-box truck to efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations.

* Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries

* Load and unload merchandise from the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques

* Verify and confirm the accuracy of delivery orders with customers

* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

* Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts

* Communicate with the dispatch team and customers to provide updates on delivery status

* Handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner

* Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules and protocols

Role Requirements:

* Previous experience as a box truck or delivery driver

* Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes

* Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety

* Ability to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading goods

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Basic math skills for verifying order quantities and handling cash transactions

* Attention to detail and accuracy in completing delivery paperwork

* Ability to work independently and follow instructions

* Flexible schedule with the willingness to work occasional weekends or overtime
