Position: Tool Warehouse Specialist
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Division: Enerfab Power & Industrial
Direct Report: Senior Director of Maintenance Operations
Hourly Rate: $20/hr - $25/hr
SummaryThe Tool Warehouse Specialist will oversee the daily operations of Enerfab's tool warehouse, ensuring efficient management of inventory, timely procurement, and proper maintenance of tools and equipment. This role is critical in supporting our construction and maintenance teams by providing the tools necessary to complete projects safely and effectively.
Duties/Responsibilities Inventory Management- Maintain accurate inventory records of all tools and equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Manage stock levels to ensure availability of required tools while minimizing excess inventory.
- Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of tools and equipment.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure tool longevity and reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors for external repairs or maintenance services.
- Collaborate with the Director of Procurement to source and purchase new tools and equipment.
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms and prices.
- Track orders and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and issuing tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and warehouse protocols.
- Implement and optimize warehouse management systems and procedures.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage digital information, and support efficient organizational processes.
- Thorough understanding of moving equipment used in the warehouse.
- Thorough understanding of procedures and policies used in the warehouse.
- Basic knowledge of all applicable state and federal OSHA and other related laws and regulations concerning operators and maintenance, inspection, and operation of equipment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to prepare budgets and reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess certificates of operation required to meet state and OSHA regulations.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
