Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate plays a key role in daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory handling, and material movement. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Shipping & Order Fulfillment- Verify and audit items for sales order shipments
- Pick and pull items based on order specifications (number, size, quantity, quality)
- Prepare, pack, and stage orders for shipment (Ground, LTL, domestic, and international)
- Ensure order accuracy prior to shipment
- Mark, label, and shrink‑wrap skids or containers
- Prepare bills of lading and schedule carrier pickups (online or by phone)
- Maintain accurate shipping records
- Receive incoming shipments (LTL, UPS, Fed Ex) and verify counts and condition
- Inspect deliveries against packing slips and bills of lading
- Open boxes and break down skids to verify contents
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to Customer Service
- Use RF systems to receive, stage, and put away materials
- Assist with inventory counts and organization
- Transport materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts
- Load and unload trucks as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform general warehouse and clerical duties as assigned
- Must be safety conscious at all times
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or similar equipment (certification preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Team player with a self‑motivated attitude
- Good hand‑eye coordination
- Ability to safely use ladders and warehouse equipment
- Basic computer skills (RF systems experience a plus)
- Fluent in English
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions
