The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Position Overview
The Central Supply Room Supervisor oversees the daily operations of stock receiving, inventory control, storage and distribution, as well as Print Shop activities. This role manages staff performance and coordinates workflows to ensure the hospital remains fully supplied and operationally efficient. The role also maintains the Material Management Information System (MMIS) and validates inventory replenishment, providing accurate reports and supply levels to support quality patient care.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Associate's degree in related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Experience:
Three years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role within stores and distribution, warehousing, purchasing and inventory control when accompanied by an Associate's degree. Five years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role within Stores and Distribution, Warehousing, Purchasing and Inventory Control when accompanied by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with Accounts Payable functions is preferred.

Knowledge and
Skills:
Strong knowledge of inventory, purchasing, receiving and distribution functions. Proficiency in basic computer operations for inventory control, shipping/receiving and re-order management. Advanced interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats. Demonstrated commitment to fostering positive customer service relationships.
Special Training:
Completion of seminars or specialized training in Infor (Lawson) Business Systems Application. Level 2 Hazardous Materials Awareness training. Certified (or capable of certification) in power pallet jack and forklift operation.
Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently from start to finish. Proven capacity to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions
Supervise the end-to-end warehouse/storeroom flow, including receiving, put away, replenishment, inventory control, picking and shipping
Manage daily labor planning to ensure staff are effectively assigned to re-order management, shipping, receiving and storage tasks
Maintain and modify established par levels to ensure accurate re-order quantities; coordinate and validate physical inventory counts throughout the year
Partner with Supply Chain Leadership and the Value Analysis Team to manage new product orders and ensure inventory is available to meet customer requirements
Identify and recommend items for addition to or removal from official inventory to streamline supply chain activities and improve supply management
Prioritize a culture of safety within all warehouse aspects, ensuring daily area readiness, equipment inspections and proper product storage
Maintain daily storeroom reports, such as stock outs and open requisitions, to identify trends and predict potential bottlenecks
Analyze work processes with staff to identify barriers, resolve workflow problems and implement performance improvements
Act as a subject matter expert in Capital Health's MMIS/ERP System (Infor Lawson) to resolve technical or processing and maintain data accuracy
Assist leadership with departmental and project budget development and monitoring; ensure expense allocations are consistently completed accurately before month-end
Interview, select and train staff, handling disciplinary actions when necessary
