Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory movement, ensuring accurate order picking, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your expertise with various heavy equipment and warehouse management systems will help streamline operations, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold safety standards.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Pick and pack orders accurately using order picker equipment and warehouse management system (WMS) software
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
• Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues to ensure safe operation
• Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets safely and managing inventory locations efficiently
• Support warehouse distribution tasks by handling materials with precision, ensuring proper placement and retrieval of stock
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines at all times to promote a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, weight measurements, and load calculations
• Excellent understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety practices
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required
