Manufacturing Engineer
• Develop, standardize, and improve manufacturing processes for plastic injection molding, roll forming, and related operations.
• Read and interpret CAD data, blueprints, GD&T, CMM reports, and customer specifications.
• Lead troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and process optimization activities to improve quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct and analyze DOE studies, SPC/data analysis, and problem-solving initiatives using scientific methods and Six Sigma principles.
• Support new product launches, manufacturing maturation, PFMEA activities, tooling development, and capital equipment procurement.
• Lead mid-sized engineering projects with minimal supervision while ensuring timely execution and effective cross-functional communication.
• Support quoting, feasibility reviews, and process planning for new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, equipment specifications, and process improvements.
• Train and mentor engineers and share best practices across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3–7 years of engineering experience; OR Master's degree in Engineering with 0–3 years of experience; OR Associate degree/Journeyman certification with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with DOE, SPC, statistics, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding and roll forming.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings, GD&T, blueprints, and dimensional reports.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
