Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated CMM Programmer to join their team. As a CMM Programmer
, you will be an integral part of the Quality Control Department supporting the Metrology Lab. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CMM Programmer
Pay Range: $60,
Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Develop, run, and modify programs to layout parts, components, and fixtures using Metro logic software.
- Generate accurate reports based on layout data to meet customer specifications.
- Support the metrology lab with training, customer interface, and fixture design reviews.
- Execute blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Troubleshoot existing programs and reports to improve quality and efficiency.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience programming quality CMM equipment.
- Proficiency with PCDmis or Metro logic software preferred.
- Experience with sheet metal and plastic automotive parts programming is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, statistics, and measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
