Operator 4 - Bilingual

Performs work associated with the operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English
• Train employees to defined work instructions and SOP's
• Translate shift start meetings
• Translate conversations
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Perform work under direct supervision

Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff

Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter

5+ years of experience

Ability to interpret work instructions in both English and Spanish

Ability to follow written and verbal directions in both English and Spanish

Ability to read a ruler and/or tape measure

Basic verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

Basic mathematical skills in both English and Spanish

Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish
