Correctional Nurse Practitioner - Impactful Jail Healthcare

• Provide nurse practitioner services on-site to inmates at QCHC’s facilities.
• Give appropriate medical orders to direct medical and nursing care provided by QCHC nursing staff at sites.
• Document all clinical encounters in the medical record.
• Participate in quality assurance, risk management, and staff education activities.
• Coordinate and communicate with jail administration as necessary.
• Participate in meetings with jail administration, Sheriffs, and/or other county officials as needed; work with off‑site healthcare providers as necessary.

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Must have current and valid CRNP.
• Must have current, unencumbered license in the state of practice.
• 1-3 years of previous Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
• Experience working in corrections preferred.
• Current BLS certified.
