Position: Energy Management Field Technician
Compensation: $ 41600 - 56160 annually, depending on experience

Energy Management Field Technician
to join their team!
This is a hands-on opportunity for a technically inclined professional who enjoys working with electrical systems, instrumentation, and natural gas equipment. In this role, you'll help support field operations, troubleshoot critical systems, and contribute to safe, reliable energy delivery across project locations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:- Operate, install, maintain, and troubleshoot natural gas equipment
- Support LNG, CNG, field gas, process, and rotating equipment
- Inspect and calibrate instrumentation, transmitters, analyzers, and control loops
- Install and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and PLC wiring
- Program and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
- Read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Perform low-voltage electrical testing, wiring, and diagnostics
- Complete maintenance documentation, job tickets, and daily activity tracking
- Train staff, contractors, and customers on system use and maintenance
- Support safe equipment setup, movement, and field operations
Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical electrical certificate preferred
- 2+ years with AC/DC circuits and low-voltage troubleshooting
- 2+ years with process instrumentation and electrical drawings
- 2+ years in natural gas operations or related equipment
- Experience with PLC wiring and motor controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driving license and clean driving record required
- Ability to obtain required certifications
Skills & Experience:
- GTI Energy Certificate for Technical Aspects of Natural Gas Infrastructure
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Click PLC systems
- HMI automation hardware and software experience
- Knowledge of LNG and CNG process flow
- Understanding of control theory and PID loops
- Experience with compressor mechanics or gas compression
- Familiarity with calibration and loop tuning
- Texas Railroad Commission LNG/CNG certification
