Stocking Team Associate Walmart

Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and may be required to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts.

Ensure customers can find all the items they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift, this may involve moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, or helping customers while stocking shelves. The job is fast‑paced and physically demanding.

Key duties include:

• Unload trucks and deliver freight to the backroom.
• Sort products by category and store them appropriately.
• Stock products on shelves and maintain aisle cleanliness.
• Engage vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Greet customers and answer their questions.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Ability to lift items over 50 pounds.
