Career Systems Development Corporation Careers seeks a Career Transitions Services professional to guide Job Corps students into employment, training, or education pathways. In this mission-driven, student-centered role, you will provide one-on-one career counseling, job readiness workshops, and transition planning for young adults. You'll build employer and community partnerships, coordinate placements, and track outcomes. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you'll help students gain skills, secure opportunities, and move toward long-term self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized career counseling and transition planning for Job Corps students nearing completion
• Develop employability, job search, and life-skills workshops and deliver group sessions
• Coordinate job placement, apprenticeships, and postsecondary education opportunities with employers and schools
• Maintain accurate case notes, placement data, and follow-up records in compliance with program standards
• Collaborate with instructional, counseling, and residential staff to support students' career goals
• Engage employers and community partners to expand work-based learning and placement pipelines
• Support students with resume writing, interview preparation, and job application processes
• Monitor post-placement outcomes and provide follow-up support to promote retention and advancement
