Career Systems Development Corporation seeks an Admissions Counselor to recruit and enroll eligible young adults into Job Corps programs. In this role, you will conduct outreach, presentations, and interviews; assess applicants' eligibility and readiness; and guide them through the application and enrollment process. You will collaborate with center staff and community partners, maintain accurate records, and meet enrollment goals. CSD offers a mission-driven, student-centered environment where you support trainees' educational and career pathways while working closely with a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and engage prospective Job Corps students through outreach and presentations
  • Conduct applicant interviews and assess eligibility and suitability for programs
  • Guide applicants and families through the application and enrollment process
  • Collaborate with center staff and community partners to meet enrollment goals
  • Maintain accurate applicant records and documentation in databases
  • Communicate program expectations, services, and outcomes to students and stakeholders
  • Participate in community events and information sessions to promote Job Corps
  • Support a student-centered, mission-driven culture aligned with CSD values
