Job Description
Join a team dedicated to building and assembling industrial control panels using electrical schematics and blueprints. This role involves wire cutting, stripping, crimping, building wire harnesses, and running electrical wires from point-to-point. You will also be responsible for the installation of electronic and mechanical components using various hand, power, air, and torque tools.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble industrial control panels.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, and crimping.
- Construct wire harnesses and run electrical wires from point-to-point.
- Install electronic and mechanical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, air tools, and torque tools efficiently.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience in wiring, assembly, and crimping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Assembly experience is a bonus.
- A passion for building things, electronics, or electrical work is ideal.

Work Environment
The work environment is a smaller, privately owned panel shop employing around 30 people. The facility operates on a first shift schedule from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times available to accommodate public transportation needs. The shop is located in a light technical setting within an old airport hangar, which is clean and organized. The company has a positive culture and is committed to training new employees in building electrical control panels.
Different cells within the shop focus on building various types of panels for a range of clients and industries.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troutdale, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
