Position Overview
The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Specialist will perform cycle counting, verifying products in warehouse reserve locations using computers, handheld devices, forms, etc. The role also involves inspecting product or lot and date‑code verifications, auditing paperwork, and handling obsolete inventory.
Responsibilities- Conduct accurate cycle counts of inventory locations using the appropriate tools and update the system as required.
- Research and process problem pallets and unlocated inventory.
- Identify errors and log them as directed by the supervisor.
- Validate product dating in the warehouse and update as required.
- Perform daily audit of inbound receiving.
- Identify and research root causes of variances and report errors to Operations partners.
- Respond to buyer requests for item checks and coordinate internal code‑to‑code transfers.
- Coordinate handling of obsolete and at‑risk inventory (vendor returns, donations, recalls) including identifying, communicating, adjusting, and validating product.
- Research and resolve inventory variances.

- Must be able to work at the end of shift, including overtime, to meet business needs.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, stoop, grip, carry, and lift objects from 20lb to 60lb.
- Experience with warehouse and inventory management systems and software is preferred.
