Assistant Professor-Biomedical Sciences

The Center for Biomedical Sciences and Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Science and Engineering at Troy University invites applicants to apply for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We seek a dynamic and innovative scholar who is committed to excellence in both teaching and research and who will contribute to the growth and distinction of our interdisciplinary biomedical sciences programs.

1. Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in biomedical sciences and potentiallybioengineering or related disciplines, depending on expertise.
2. Develop and maintain an active, externally funded research program that includedstudent involvement and contributes to the Center and Department's mission.
3. Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research, academic advising, andcareer development.
4. Participate in curriculum development, departmental service, and interdisciplinarycollaborations within the College and across the university.
