Lecturer – Risk Management and Insurance
The Department of Economics, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance in the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University is seeking a full‑time Lecturer for the academic year, with an appointment beginning August 1, 2025.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses primarily in risk management and insurance.
- Provide academic and career advising for students.
- Engage with industry partners through various events.
- Provide service to the Risk Management and Insurance program.
- Teaching load: 4/4 semesters (12 credit hours each semester).
- Driving may be necessary, but is not a primary responsibility.
- Master’s degree required by the start of the appointment, from an AACSB‑accredited institution.
- 5 years of experience within the insurance industry.
