The Lecturer position in Counselor Education is a full-time, non-tenure-track position and is responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in the professional field of Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling; supervising students in practicum and internship; providing academic advisement to program students; maintaining availability during set weekly office hours on campus; engaging in professional development; conducting ongoing scholarship and research; fostering community relations;
attending required faculty meetings; and performing other duties as determined by the department, college, and university. Teaching responsibilities may include multiple sites with evening and weekend formats.
- Earned doctorate degree in Counselor Education from a CACREP program
- Valid state license as a professional counselor
- Eligible for LMHC in the State of Florida
- Teaching experience at the graduate level
- Experience working as a Mental Health Counseling Professional
