Adjunct Instructor – Mathematics
Position Type: Adjunct Faculty (Non‑Tenure‑Track)
Department: Mathematics
Campus: All Campuses
Employment: As‑needed, semester/term basis. Contracts are issued per term.
Job Summary: Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as‑needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education with Mathematics as a major
- Experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level or employment as a mathematics tutor by a college or university
