Job SummaryThe Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in Art & Design is responsible for teaching courses in graphic design. Other responsibilities may require advising students; participating in senior reviews; and serving on departmental, college and university committees, management and teaching within the online design program.
Teaching Load- In-Class Teaching: 75%
- Online Teaching: 25%
- MA or MFA in Graphic Design and substantial experience in the design field including new media, animation or video.
- Ability to teach a full range of digital design for multiple print, web and other applications, adhering to best practices using the Adobe CC industry-standard software packages.
- Significant professional experience as a design and/or art director.
- Substantial higher education teaching experience.
- Online teaching experience.
Standard face-to-face teaching load with outside-of-class office hours as described in the Faculty Handbook.
