Job Summary
The Enrollment Manager/Recruiter utilizes information, software, and procedures effectively to engage with prospective students from first inquiry to enrollment at Troy University. The Enrollment Manager/Recruiter assists in attracting and enrolling students by one‑on‑one admissions counseling, in‑person appointments, phone calls, texts, and emails. The Enrollment Manager/Recruiter collaborates with individuals related to recruiting, enrolling, and retaining students. This position will also work collaboratively with Student Services Team Leaders/ASAs to assure timely and efficient movement of prospects from application through enrollment.
- Responsible for some general recruitment activities and community outreach, involving attending community college/community outreach events, to include business and external material distribution.
- Establishes and maintains effective internal and external working relationships.
- Maintains proper inventory of current collateral.
- Communicates to other teams, updating information on academic programs and educational opportunities reported through university leadership.
- Provides direction and guidance to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Monitors and communicates curriculum and program changes.
- Assists prospects with information related to enrollment requirements, program content and other areas of the university as necessary.
- Assists walk‑in prospective students/applicants and field phone calls from prospective students/applicants.
- Works closely with admitted students to get them to enroll in class.
- Assists Student Services with registration of prospective students.
- Ensures prospective students receive unofficial/official evaluations of transfer credits.
- Assists students with Financial Aid information/missing documents from FA package.
This position will document communication with prospects to include the archival of academic documents pertinent to the admissions process, and other duties as assigned. Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Minimum QualificationsDriving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends when required. Work hours are TBD by office.
Sitting at a desk and looking at a computer screen for numerous hours in a day. Traveling in a vehicle to events and recruiting.
Does not have supervisory responsibility.
