Director of International Enrollment Management
The Director of International Enrollment Management position is responsible for recruitment of international students to Troy University; developing promotional materials for international programs and activities; coordinating recruiting for all Troy University locations including Troy University teaching sites abroad; working to diversify the international student population; analyze enrollment trends and set strategic recruiting plans; train and mentor staff to successfully recruit and admit international students;
prepare weekly and monthly application and admissions reports; analyzing current agent partnerships; reporting on success; recommending continuation (or not) of agreements while also vetting potential new agent partners; maintaining correspondence with potential international students and agents; assisting agencies in placing students at Troy University; and supervising employees and student workers.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a field related to International Relations, Hospitality, Travel, and/or Languages, or a related field
2. Proficiency in at least one second language
3. Knowledge of successful strategies and practices for marketing to, recruiting and serving university students
4. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals whose native language may not be English
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master Degree in a related field
2. Minimum of five years of work experience in international enrollment/education
Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility. Ability to work non-standard hours as needed, to include evenings and weekends. Ability to travel internationally in an official capacity for the university (must hold active passport and appropriate visas). Travel internationally in other parts of the country. Yes.
