Position:
Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer – Javelin Program (Troy, Alabama)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
• 3+ years of professional experience in test engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working with Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company. In the role of ATE Test Engineer, you will support production test equipment and test software activities for the Javelin Program, ensuring the seamless operation of test systems.

As the ATE Test Engineer, you will support test systems, provide technical expertise, and drive improvements to test equipment and software using technologies such as Test Stand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI® for signal generation, measurement, environmental stress screening (ESS), and functional testing.

• Upgrade, integrate, and support test equipment hardware and software as needed
• Analyze failures associated with test equipment and recommend solutions Troubleshoot and problem‑solve test equipment issues
• Collaborate with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

• Proficiency with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand
• Experience with verification and validation of test equipment for DoD products
