Mechanical Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in an Engineering related field
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and ability to perform complex tolerance analysis
• Minimum 2 Years Experience with Creo Design Software
• Root cause and corrective action experience
• Ability to work with minimal oversight or supervision
• Ability to read engineering drawings, documents, parts lists and specifications
• Demonstrated investigative effort and report status to interdisciplinary teams
• Secret clearance

You will be the Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer Staff for the Air Dominance production team. Our team is responsible for assembly, integration, testing, coating, and packout of an Air Dominance missile.

• Participate as a key member in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, reviewing non-conforming hardware for performance impacts, identifying appropriate root cause, and ensuring corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence
• Coordinate efforts within the Mechanical, Quality and Manufacturing team
• Support weekly meetings to review status to leadership

• Previous Material Review Board experience
• Experience with CREO, Windchill PLM and SAP
• Knowledge of composites, electronics assemblies or coating processes
• Experience in a manufacturing setting, including interactions with floor supervisors, technicians, and inspectors

Onsite full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
