Postdoctoral Associate

Troy University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position hosted in the College of Science and Engineering. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher with a strong background in semiconductor plasmonics, energy harvesting devices, photonics and computational electromagnetics.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct independent and collaborative research in Photonics, semiconductor plasmonics and energy harvesting technologies.

Establish and manage a new optoelectronics laboratory, including equipment setup and operations.

Contribute to and support grant writing efforts, including preparation of proposals and reports.

Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate student researchers in relevant projects.

Teach one introductory course in Electrical and Electronic Engineering per semester.
