Description
You will be the Associate Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting program and functional quality, interfacing with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel, and driving continuous improvement through audits and corrective actions.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Associate Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring product and process excellence, leading root‑cause investigations, and championing quality improvements across the program.
- Interface with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
- Investigate non‑conformance issues and develop corrective actions.
- Conduct hardware quality audits, FOE walk‑downs, and surveillance assessments.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Support continuous improvement through audits and process reviews.

LocationThis position is in Troy, Alabama.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college with 1+ years of experience.
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The position requires a Secret clearance and a company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
- Candiate must pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background check to obtain approval to be an employee possessor of ATF‑regulated items.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Mechanical, industrial, or related engineering degree.
- VBA coding skills (Excel)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
- Quality discipline internship or DoD industry internship
- Ability to work with a team in a fast‑paced environment
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
