Quality Engineer

You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product excellence through rigorous audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. What you will be doing as the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for interfacing with multiple functional areas, investigating non-conformance issues, and leading quality audits. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Interface with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel.
• Investigate non-conformance issues and develop root-cause corrective actions.
• Conduct Hardware Quality Audits (HQAs) and Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) walk-downs.
• Perform product, process, and surveillance audits to identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures based on audit findings.

Basic Qualifications:

STEM degree at the Bachelor's level or above, or equivalent experience/combined education. Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting. Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations.

Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Skills:

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T). Experience with SAP, Windchill, MPMLink Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
