Job Overview
Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Javelin Program – responsible for ensuring seamless operation of test systems in Troy, Alabama. Focus on supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities, providing technical support, equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.
Responsibilities- Upgrading, integrating, and supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed
- Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
- Troubleshooting and problem‑solving test equipment issues
- Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting
- Conducting Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and functional testing using Test Stand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field and 3+ years of professional experience
- Experience working with Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams
- U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Proficiency with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand
- Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products
Top Secret clearance required; position requires a government security clearance and applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
