Description
You will be the Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor for the Manufacturing Operations Team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality products on schedule while continuously improving processes. This person will work Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 5a-5p & can flex the additional 4 hours during the standard work week.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for leading a weekend‑shift work group, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Daily supervision of a team and assignment of work tasks.
- Ensuring all teammates are trained, prepared, and equipped for their duties.
- Tracking and documenting attendance and performance metrics.
- Building effective relationships and fostering a safe, inclusive workplace.
- Collaborating with ESH to enforce safety and environmental policies.

Location:
Troy, Alabama.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Must obtain an interim clearance prior to starting and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- Working Knowledge of MS Office Software and Systems.
- Proven ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule metrics.
Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF‑regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret clearance. This position requires a government security clearance and you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Desired Skills- Manufacturing and/or defense industry experience.
- Ability to provide Leadership and obtain Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to maintain good employee relations within a team.
- Excellent oral, active listening, and written communications skills.
- Team building skills.

Onsite Full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility, in addition to paid time off benefits.
