Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Supervisor (1st Shift) for the Manufacturing Operations Team. Our team is responsible for overseeing first‑shift production, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.
What You Will Be Doing:As the Manufacturing Supervisor (1st Shift) you will be responsible for leading a 1st‑shift work group, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery. This person will work Mon‑Thur 5:42AM to 4:12PM.
Responsibilities:- Daily supervision of a team and assignment of work tasks.
- Ensuring all teammates are trained, prepared, and equipped for their duties.
- Tracking and documenting attendance and performance metrics.
- Building effective relationships and fostering a safe, inclusive workplace.
- Collaborating with ESH to enforce safety and environmental policies.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Must obtain an interim clearance prior to starting and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Software and Systems.
- Proven ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule metrics.
- Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF‑regulated items).
Skills:
- Manufacturing and/or defense industry experience.
- Ability to provide leadership and obtain Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to maintain good employee relations within a team.
- Excellent oral, active listening, and written communication skills.
- Team building skills.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration and possess an active Secret clearance to start.
