The Sikorsky Aerostructures Product Center, responsible for manufacturing and assembling helicopter airframe structures, is at the heart of this commitment. Our team in Troy supports UH/HH-60M, HH-60W, MH-60R, and MH-60T parts manufacturing and assembly, creating impactful work across all areas of production.

Work

As a Project Coordinator Lead within the Continuous Improvement team, you will be integral to enhancing productivity, efficiency, and product quality. In this role, you’ll utilize methodologies like Lean Six Sigma to identify and implement changes that drive measurable results. You’ll coordinate and oversee critical projects across departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and instilling a mindset of constant learning and adaptation within our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver all Production System projects on time and to quality standards.
  • Establish, coordinate, and ensure adherence to project milestone plans.
  • Set clear expectations for project content review and support delivery where needed.
  • Maintain continuity between projects, ensuring standard work reflects new tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate team meetings, organize project content, and manage deliverables effectively.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Comprehension of analytical tools, workflow time studies, and project management.
  • Familiar with databases, data mining, and data analytics.
Desired Skills
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills coupled with being a team player.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement tools: SAP, Solumina, JIRA, and Tableau Dashboards.
  • Strong organization skills including attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address and resolve issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate.
  • Previous Sikorsky Operations experience.

Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
