Exciting Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Montgomery, Alabama
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) will provide urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services to patients of all ages. The role requires full scope practice, leadership of a small team, and adherence to clinic protocols.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat upper respiratory illnesses such as cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other conditions
- Perform minor procedures including toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Perform suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations
- Review X-rays, with radiologist over‑read
- Provide general dermatology, eye care, and EKG interpretation
- Apply emergency management skills
- Provide general GYN expertise
- Treat patients of all ages, including children and geriatric patients
- Conduct occupational medicine evaluations
- Offer telemedicine services
Clinic
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.;
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Work on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, as follows:
- Week 1:
Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (OFF), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). - Week 2:
Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (ON), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcome)
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (company will cover cost)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite preferred
- Health, Dental, Vision coverage
