Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.;
Train employees and conduct performance evaluations; address gaps for counseling or termination if needed.;
Open and close the store regularly; personally open at least two times per week and close at least two times per week.;
Review operating statements to identify sales, profitability, inventory turnover, and expense control opportunities; monitor shrink and errors.;
Ensure accurate inventory and merchandise presentation, pricing, signage; maintain cash handling and security.
