Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Thursday: 04:30 AM - 04:30 PM
- Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor screening in accordance with site protocols.
- Support emergency situations and coordinated response efforts with professionalism, maintaining readiness to follow post orders and communicate with local authorities and site contacts as needed.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
