As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Troy, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Full Time Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols for controlled locations and sensitive operations.
* Support Allied Universal post orders by maintaining a visible presence, handling routine inquiries, and completing required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid firearms permit is preferred.
* CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
