As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Troy, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Full Time Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols for a regulated location handling sensitive operations.
* Support incident reporting, post orders, and shift communications, maintaining readiness to address evolving conditions while following Allied Universal standards and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
* A valid firearms permit is preferred.
* The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
