Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Clearance Required – Troy, AL

• Fri: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a high‑profile aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security‑related concerns.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment, follow post orders for an armed position, and complete required reports, logs, and shift communications in a timely manner.

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• At least 21 years of age (for armed roles)
• Valid driver’s license (according to policy)
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred
• Comfortable using computer or tablet preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation as required by law
• Drug screen as permitted by law
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs
• Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws
