The Technician at David Scott Lee is responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks to support the operations and maintenance of equipment. This role is critical in ensuring that all machinery and systems function efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of the company by minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all technical operations.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other staff members as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
Required Experience- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical or mechanical role.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment or machinery.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
