JOB REQUIREMENTS- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Orientation and training provided on the job.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36° in the cooler to 90° or higher in some areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500° or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Stooping/Bending – forward bending at the pizza assembly station; repeated continuously for 30‑45 seconds. Workers may reach above 72 inches to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on signs, and lift objects.
- Crouching/Squatting – performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching – up, down, and forward continuously; workers reach down to scoop cornmeal, wash dishes, and answer phones.
- Hand Tasks – eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous; shaping dough, manipulating a pizza peel, using a rolling cutter, pinching during pizza box assembly, and grasping cans, phones, and pizza cutters.
- Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids – use of pencils, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
- Deliver product by car to customers' doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
- Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
- Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer's location.
- Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
