Production Worker - 3rd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are 11:00 p.m.

- 7:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory  hourly rate is $20.45.

What you'll do:

The Production Worker is expected to work in all departments of the manufacturing plant - Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout - doing various manual labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments on a daily basis.

In this function, you will:

* Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards.

* Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications.

* Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport.

* Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup.

* Create barcodes and accurately label finished products.

* Cutting materials using a band saw while following all safety procedures.

* Handle materials efficiently to support smooth workflow and production needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Position Success Criteria:

* Must be able to frequently carry 10-34 pounds and occassionally carry 35-100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Must be able to carry a 100-pound ladder occasionally with assistance.

* Must be able to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Must be able to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull with or without reasonable accommodation.
