Senior Accountant 2+ Years of Experience

Venteon is currently seeking a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company s overall financial success.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team located in Troy, MI. We are seeking a candidate who is process oriented and responsible for handling all aspects of accounting, including month end close, account reconciliation, fixed asset management and financial reporting.

Requirements of the Senior Accountant

• 2+ years of accounting or industry accounting experience preferred experience working in a small to middle market company).
• Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude, both a team player and a self starter
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills.
• Bachelor s Degree desired. Experience with Sage

Responsibilities of the Chief Accounting Officer CFO

• Monthly preparation/review of account reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with process improvements within accounting processes
• Assist with annual audit of financial statements.
• Maintain proper accounting of Assets and Depreciation/Amortization
• Lease accounting under ASC 842
• Periodic review of cash/bank reconciliations
• Assist management in understanding KPI to implement operational changes
• Payroll accounting between our payroll vendor and accounting
