Accounting Clerk

Adecco has partnered with a privately held organization in Troy, MI to recruit a Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations.

The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, reporting support, and AP/AR processing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience.

• Create and post journal entries
• Support monthly P&L analysis and management reporting
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and analysis
• Reconcile cash balances and bank accounts; maintain monthly bank statements
• Post accounts receivable checks and miscellaneous transactions
• Reconcile prepaid expenses and prepare monthly journal entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation
• Assist with monthly and year-end close activities
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation

• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
