AR Accountant

Overview

Join our team as an AR Accountant and play a key role in supporting the financial accuracy that enables our patient care. At Direct Rx Pharmacy, we are committed to providing exceptional care, which includes maintaining accurate and timely financial processes.

This role supports the day-to-day financial operations of Direct Rx, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and transaction reconciliation. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong organizational skills to help maintain the integrity of our accounting systems.

• Assist with posting payments from various payers accurately
• Process vendor invoices and prepare payment documentation
• Support account reconciliations and help maintain the general ledger
• Identify and help resolve discrepancies in payments or invoices
• Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
• Contribute to month-end closing tasks and financial reporting support
• Participate in audits and assist with special accounting projects as needed
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Analytical thinking with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
