Unlike "siloed" roles at larger firms, this position offers 360-degree exposure to tax, audit, and advisory engagements. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with firm partners, handling everything from complex corporate tax returns to high-level audit reviews and IRS notice resolution.

If you are a CPA-track professional looking for a stable environment that prioritizes your technical development and provides a clear pathway to senior leadership, this is your ideal next step.

Job Responsibilities
  • Tax Compliance & Preparation: Prepare high-accuracy federal and state returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts.
  • Assurance Engagements: Participate in the full lifecycle of audits, reviews, and compilation engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Advisory & Planning: Assist with strategic tax planning for businesses and high-net-worth individuals; conduct research on federal and multi-state tax matters.
  • Client Consulting: Provide hands-on Quick Books consulting and bookkeeping support to ensure client financial integrity.
  • Audit Defense: Provide critical support in responding to IRS, state, and local tax notices and inquiries.
  • Multi-State Filings: Assist with complex multi-state tax projections and filings to ensure multi-jurisdictional compliance.
  • Partner Collaboration: Work directly with senior team members and partners to deliver high-stakes projects under tight deadlines, particularly during peak tax seasons.
Requirements
Education & Credentials

  • CPA License or CPA-track status (active study for the exam) is highly preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-7 years of professional experience within a CPA firm environment.
  • Proven experience in both Tax and Audit (candidates with only one functional area will be considered if willing to train).
  • Hands-on proficiency with professional tax software and Quick Books.
Skills & Abilities
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP and federal/state/local tax regulations.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for direct client interaction and internal collaboration.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse engagements independently.
  • Resilience: Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-output professional environment.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance plans
  • Life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
  • Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
