Sr. Manager, Consolidations

A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Manager, Consolidations
. The ideal candidate will have intercompany and consolidations experience, CPA credentials with experience in a large multi-entity manufacturing environment, and leadership experience managing accounting teams.

The Senior Manager, Consolidations role is a hybrid position. This is a direct hire position.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process across multiple legal entities.
• Oversee intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations, eliminations, and resolution of intercompany differences.
• Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Review consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and reporting packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with finance, accounting, and business leaders to ensure consistent financial reporting across all entities.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and drive improvements to the close process.
• Develop, document, and improve consolidation procedures and accounting processes.
• Assist with external audits by preparing supporting schedules and responding to audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support the enhancement of financial reporting processes.
  
  Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements and system enhancements.
• Participate in special projects related to accounting, financial reporting, and organizational growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant consolidations and intercompany accounting experience.
• Experience working in a large, multi-entity manufacturing organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and month-end close processes.
• Prior leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation software.
• Experience designing or improving accounting processes and internal controls is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and business units.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
