Job Description
- Analyze and maintain the monthly general ledger activity relating to the assigned portfolio
- Prepare and update schedules supporting G/L balances
- Prepare and update detailed schedules of fixed assets, prepare fixed assets addition/change forms and reconcile G/L balances to the balances in FAS
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Accruals, prepaids, production close out, misc. adjustments, etc.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
- Complete various account reconciliations
- Analyze balance sheet account balances and changes
- Analyze various income statement accounts to identify large or unusual activity
- Complete various quarterly payroll tax reports
- Complete and file sales & use tax returns
- Review and respond to various tax notices
- Complete various monthly/quarterly/annual registrations
- Compile data needed to support internal and external reporting requirements
- Support other departments as requested
- Must have strong analytical, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills Accountability and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel, Quick Books, Accounting CS
