Accountant, Financial Reporting, Auditor Accountant

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Staff/Client Accountant role with our clients well established CPA firm in Troy Michigan. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities in the field of auditing, primarily focusing on accounting software systems, audit programs, and handling different financial and operational audies and client accounting work. This role is an integral part of our clients team, ensuring that audit engagements are executed appropriately and efficiently as well as client accountant responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Leading and executing audit engagements with precision and efficiency

- Utilizing accounting software systems to manage and analyze financial data

- Developing comprehensive audit plans to ensure thorough examination of financial records

- Handling various accounting functions to support the smooth operation of the business

- Regularly reviewing and updating audit programs to ensure compliance with industry standards

- Ensuring accurate record keeping and timely resolution of audit-related inquiries.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a CPA is highly preferred

Candidates must also have at least three years of public accounting experience with audit and client accounting.

Additional requirements.

- Ability to perform Accounting Functions

- Experience in Audit Engagements

- Proficiency in Auditing

- Ability to create and implement Audit Plans

- Experience with Budget Processes and client accounting.
